Hickory Fest

Hickory Fest brings music lovers together every summer in the shadow of the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon. Held rain or shine in the beautiful Stony Fork Creek Campground in Wellsboro, PA, Hickory Fest is a family-friendly, fun-filled weekend of bluegrass and acoustic music to benefit the Sue Cunningham Memorial Music Scholarship and the Tioga County unit of the American Cancer Society.

The spirit of Sue Cunningham, a world class fiddler and singer in her own right and the original co-developer and producer of this nationally recognized music festival (originally known as “Music in the Mountains” when it began in 2002) lives on through a lineup of the best in bluegrass and acoustic music. This year’s festival, the first since Sue’s passing in 2015, includes artists such as Donna the Buffalo, Claire Lynch, Verlon Thompson, and many others.

For more information about the performers and how to get tickets, visit the Hickory Fest website.

The Penn Wells Hotel & Lodge is excited to serve as the official festival lodging partner for this year. Book your room today and enjoy the best the region has to offer in lodging and bluegrass music!
