Tioga County has over 1100 miles of stocked and native trout streams, fly fishing only areas, catch-and-release areas, and numerous lakes full of trout, large- and smallmouth bass, yellow perch, bluegill, and an occasional muskie or walleye.

Hammond Lake – 3,73-acre park with a 680-acre lake. 163 campsites. Sites have water and electric hook-ups, modern bathhouses, playground facilities, and a dump station. The campground has its own boat launch with overnight mooring available. There are no boat size or horsepower limits on the lake, but some areas are zoned Slow-No Wake. Other features include a swimming beach, sand volleyball court, playground, boat launches, field sports area, a camp store, trails hunting, display gardens, archery trail, scenic overlooks, and picnic facilities including grills and picnic shelters.
Cowanesque Lake – 2,734-acre park with 1,085-acre lake. 86 family campsites and 16 wooded sites. The campground has a swimming beach, playgrounds, a modern bathhouse, a camp store, a boat launch, and mooring facilities. There are no boat size or horsepower limits on the lake, but some areas are zoned as Slow-No Wake. Other features include a swimming beach, playground, boat launches, and picnic facilities including grills and picnic shelters.
Tioga Lake – 2,965 acre park with 470-acre lake. A boat launch ramp and picnic area are accessible from US Route 15 north of Mansfield. A 3.5 mile paved hike & bike trail is available at Lambs Creek Recreation Area off of Business Route 15.
Hills Creek State Park – 406-acre park with 137-acre lake. Boating is available with rowboats, paddleboats, kayaks, and canoes available for rent during the summer. Sail boating and electric motors are permitted. The park has a sand beach, fishing, hiking, and picnicking.
